Google Merchant Center: Mismatched price

Error message
Price mismatch (page crawl) [price]

What's happening

Google fetches your product page and parses the displayed price. If the price in the feed differs from the parsed page price (after currency conversion and tax handling), the product is suspended. Common causes: stale feed cache, taxes-included vs. taxes-excluded mismatch, currency conversion drift, A/B-tested prices on the page.

Affected fields:pricesale_price

Manual fix

Increase your feed refresh frequency, audit your tax-handling settings in Merchant Center, force a manual fetch, wait for re-validation. Typical resolution: 24–48 hours.

Fix it with Emberfeed

Emberfeed refreshes feeds hourly by default. The serve cache also serves freshly-rendered images on every product update so Google's crawler sees current data. For tax mismatches, use Emberfeed's field rules to apply or strip VAT consistently before serving — same logic, applied identically across every product.

Catch every Google Merchant Center issue before they do.

Emberfeed validates your feed against Google Merchant Center's rules in real time. Each issue includes a one-click fix or a clear path to the right rule. Free for 6 months on one feed up to 1,000 products.
